These low-cost, high-impact dispensers are being used by AIDS service organizations, health departments, and colleges around Nairobi, Kenya to hand out free condoms in bars, restaurants, retail sites, clinics, and on college campuses.
Concerning These Special Dispensers
These innovative condom dispensers, which come in two sizes, were refined over a seven-year period of field testing by the Capital City AIDS Fund. The large dispenser stores about 800 condoms, while the tiny dispenser has about 200. Through a locking hinged lid, they are readily filled. Customers can take out one or two condoms at a time through the small dispensing aperture at the bottom, which prevents anyone from grabbing large quantities at once.
It combines prevention and education into one.
While the dispensers’ innovative design was made with infection prevention in mind, it was also intended to promote education. The container’s flat, transparent face gives your business the ability to design and attach a preventive message that includes your logo, contact information (web or phone), a QR code, and instructions on how to be tested.
